Job Title: Learning Services Partner

Location: State-Wide - MUST BE A COLORADO RESIDENT

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports to: Director of Exceptional Student Services

Work Hours/Days: Full-Time or Part-Time based on student enrollment and special education service needs. Caseload expectations will be aligned with FTE assignment in accordance with state and federal special education guidelines.

Wage: $65-$85/per hour. Compensation will be prorated based on FTE assignment.

Benefits: Benefit eligibility is based on FTE status. Employees working 30 hours or greater per week are eligible for full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k and paid leave. Employees working less than 30 hours per week will get paid sick leave.

Job Function

The Learning Services Partner supports the development of inclusive, data-driven student services by partnering with school leaders to mentor and coach school psychologists, SSPs, special education teachers, and paraprofessionals. This role strengthens MTSS/RTI frameworks, trauma-informed practices, and SEL programming, while ensuring compliance and cultural responsiveness in diagnostic, psychoeducational assessment and special education systems. Through targeted professional development, collaborative team facilitation, and inclusion-focused leadership, the Partner builds capacity across schools and empowers educators and families to navigate and improve academic and behavioral interventions, mental health and special education supports, including 504, Gifted, and Multi-Lingual Learners.

Core Responsibilities

Learning Services Partner

Focus Areas: School Psychology, Mental Health Supports, Special Education, Inclusive Practices, Leadership, and Professional Learning

Special Education & Inclusive Practices

  • Develop and maintain special education compliance systems (evaluations, IEPs, progress monitoring, documentation)
  • Promote inclusive education strategies including co-teaching models, accommodations, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
  • Facilitate effective IEP and 504 meetings that foster collaboration between families and staff
  • Support multidisciplinary team collaboration (psychologists, SLPs, OTs, special educators)
  • Deliver targeted professional development for special education personnel

Leadership & Systems Development

  • Lead the design and scaling of student support services across networks
  • Use data-driven decision-making to inform student support strategies
  • Coach administrators and team leads to build capacity across cross-functional teams
  • Advance equity and access in special education and mental health services, with a focus on reducing disproportionality and promoting culturally responsive practices

School Psychology & Mental Health Supports

  • Provide mentorship and onboarding support for new school psychologists and social workers
  • Offer guidance on ethical practices and case consultation
  • Design and facilitate MTSS/RTI frameworks for academic and behavioral support
  • Build and enhance mental health programs, including SEL, trauma-informed practices, and school-based counseling
  • Consult on psychoeducational assessments with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and cultural responsiveness

Professional Learning & Training

  • Design and deliver workshops for school psychologists and special education teams (e.g., SEL group facilitation, IEP writing, accommodations training, SMART SEL goals)
  • Provide parent and family engagement training to navigate special education systems
  • Develop customized professional development series for schools (e.g., trauma-informed practices, inclusive culture building)
  • Coach educators in evidence based instruction and intervention practices

 

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology, Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
  • Valid licensure or certification in Special Education or related services, School Psychology and/or Special Education Administration (e.g., Director of Special Education License)
  • Formal training in MTSS, trauma-informed practices, SEL, and inclusive education frameworks
  • Ongoing professional development in culturally responsive practices, ethical standards, and compliance systems

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in school-based roles such as school psychologist, special education teacher, or other Special Service Provider
  • Demonstrated leadership in designing and implementing MTSS/RTI systems across academic and behavioral domains
  • Experience coaching educators, SSPs, and paraprofessionals in instructional and intervention practices
  • Proven success facilitating IEP/504 meetings and supporting multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Background in developing and delivering professional learning for educators and families

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Deep understanding of special education law, compliance systems, and culturally responsive diagnostic assessment
  • Expertise in mental health supports including SEL, trauma-informed care, and school-based counseling
  • Skilled in coaching and capacity-building across diverse roles (psychologists, SSPs, special educators, paras)
  • Ability to design and facilitate professional development tailored to school needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across teams and with families
  • Strategic thinking and systems-level leadership to scale student support services
