Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist's to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The Extended School Year (ESY) Occupational Therapist provides therapy services to eligible students during the summer program to support the maintenance of functional, academic, and developmental skills in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
  • Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
  • Maintain documentation of services and student progress as required by the district.
  • Participate in IEP-related meetings as needed during the ESY program.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapeutic environment.
  • Follow district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Hours:

  • 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM 

Up to 6 hours per week to be determined by enrollment

Dates of Program:

  • 7/7/2026 - 7/30/2026

Class Days:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Locations:

  • Elementary - Mt. View Elementary
  • Secondary - CD East High
