ESY Substitute Nurse- Multiple Openings

Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse's to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program as Substitute Nurses. The Extended School Year (ESY)Substitute Nurse provides health services to students during the summer ESY program to support student safety, wellness, and access to education in accordance with district policies and students’ health care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments
• Implement and monitor student health care plans, including those related to medical conditions and IEPs/504 plans
• Respond to health emergencies and follow district emergency procedures
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and related service providers to support student health needs
• Maintain accurate health records and required documentation
• Communicate with families regarding student health concerns as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with state health regulations, district policies, and confidentiality requirements
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment

Requirements:

• Must have a current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse.   
• Completion of American Red Cross Standard First Aid Course, recertified as required.

 Hours of Work:

• 7:30 am - 12:30 pm 

Up to 6 hours per week to be determined by enrollment

 Dates:

• 7/7/2026 - 7/30/2026

Class Days:

• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
