Subway Sandwich Artist

Description

SUMMARY OF JOB: The Subway Sandwich Artist provides the support to the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders by providing products to all customers and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the Sandwich Artist works closely with the Subway Manager, Shift Leader, and customers.

DAILY DUTIES:

1. Provide operational support to Subway Manager and Shift Leaders.
2. Ensures that all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures.
3. Communicate effectively and appropriately with all staff members.
4. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine.
5. Support the mission statement of Trexcon.
6. Give fast, friendly customer service.
7. Effectively communicates with all customers
8. Adhere to all product formulas. 
9. Follow proper procedures for retarding, proofing, and baking of all breads.
10. Prepare all back-up products utilizing the correct equipment to perform each duty.
11. Operate all equipment according to manufactures and Subway regulations.
12. Accurately perform daily inventory counts utilizing the proper forms provided.
13. Understand and adhere to all Subway and county Health and Safety policies regarding the proper handling of food.
14. Proper hand washing
15. Proper glove usage
16. Maintain products within the proper food temperature zones
17. Proper storage of all foods according to product type
18. Mark times and dates of opened and prepared food products
19. Daily evaluation of products to remove outdated items
20. Accurately perform and record temperatures of products on the designated temperature food logs at least once per shift.
21. Provide for corrective actions for all products within the temperature danger zone
22. Receive delivery from approved distributor and accurately account for every item on invoice.
23. Adhere to all uniform policies.
24. Maintain and account for all product inventory.
25. Assemble products for customers when it is ordered.
26. Accurately perform money transactions on the register.
27. Properly use time clock to record all duty time.
28. Finalize shift paperwork.
29. Sweep and mop floors.
30. Clean Restrooms.
31. Attend store meetings.
32. Empty trash containers inside and outside of the store.
33. Clean sidewalks and parking lot areas.
34. Complete all food adjustments.
35. Other duties as assigned by the Subway Manager or Shift Leader.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

1. Requires prolonged standing.
2. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift over 10 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
3. Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders and step stools.
4. Requires some travel.
