Shipping Associate

Job Title: Shipping Associate - Watertown, CT

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4x10 schedule)

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to support the shipping department. This role is responsible for accurate packaging, labeling, verification, and final inspection of parts prior to shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures precisely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack parts according to established work instructions and customer-specific requirements

• Accurately label boxes (part numbers, revisions, quantities, lot numbers, special instructions)

• Verify labels match work orders and customer purchase orders prior to shipment

• Perform clean room packaging as required, following all gowning and contamination-control procedures

• Confirm passivation and other processing steps are completed and properly documented before final packaging

• Conduct final visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality and labeling standards

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to follow written procedures and specifications accurately

• Basic understanding of quality and traceability requirements

• Ability to work in a clean room environment when required

• Team-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and quality standards
