Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Massena, NY
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (07:30 AM – 07:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, including blood products, per protocol
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs
• Initiate and maintain IV therapy
• Utilize rapid response and code teams when necessary
• Deliver respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and oxygen therapy
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure proper PPE usage
• Perform patient assessments and document care in EMR (Epic)
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers not accepted
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • ACLS required
• Skills:
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • IV therapy and line management (central, PICC, peripheral)
  • Blood product administration
  • Respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, oxygen therapy)
  • Emergency response (Rapid Response/Code teams)
