Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, senior care facilities, and hospice care. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and assistance with daily activities. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help patients with mobility by providing assistance in walking or transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Assist in the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (e.g., eClinicalWorks).
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Per diem
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
- Previous experience in senior care, or hospital environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
License/Certification:
- California CNA License (Required)
