About Interventional Radiology OBL

Supported by the operational expertise of CUC Inc., we are launching multiple state-of-the-art Office-Based Labs (OBL’s) across the Midwest. Healthcare is rapidly shifting from hospital-based care to high-quality outpatient and office-based models, driven by advances in endovascular technology, payer alignment, and patient demand for lower cost, more convenient care.

As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a leader who plans, develops, and delivers initial and ongoing clinical education to all OBL staff to ensure safe, standardized, and compliant practice before and after opening.

About CUC Inc.

CUC Inc. is a publicly traded global healthcare services organization, founded in Japan in 2014 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market. CUC operates with a clear mission: Creating Hope Through Healthcare—partnering with physicians to build sustainable, patient centered care models supported by strong operational and clinical infrastructure. Over the past decade, CUC has expanded internationally, working with thousands of healthcare professionals and global partners across Japan, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

In the United States, CUC is focused on expanding office-based and outpatient interventional care platforms, including OBL programs. Individuals who join CUC will partner with a well-capitalized organization that values clinical leadership, program development, and the opportunity to help shape the next generation of outpatient interventional care.

Position Summary

The OBL Clinical Educator is responsible for supporting clinical excellence, staff development, and procedural competency within the Office-Based Laboratory (OBL). This role focuses on training and mentoring clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care in a procedural environment serving vascular and interventional patients. Working closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and operations teams at CUC America, the Clinical Educator develops and implements training programs for nursing and clinical personnel involved in interventional and vascular procedures. The role ensures staff are properly onboarded, competent in procedural workflows, and aligned with best practices in patient safety, regulatory compliance, and procedural care.

The Clinical Educator also serves as a clinical resource and subject matter expert, helping standardize protocols, support new site launches, and promote continuous professional development within the OBL environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of care as the organization expands its procedural capabilities and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Assess training needs for RNs, techs, MAs, and support staff during OBL build-out (procedural skills, workflow, emergency response, documentation).

· Develop and execute a pre-opening education plan: orientation curriculum, skills checklists, simulations, and competency validation for all roles.

· Coordinate and lead mock cases and drills (time-out, sedation, contrast reactions, code situations, radiation safety, PACU/recovery workflows).

· Create and maintain clinical policies, procedure manuals, and standard work in collaboration with the Medical Director and OBL Manager.

· Organize vendor- and industry-supported in-services for new devices and equipment relevant to your OBL (e.g., Abbott/Medtronic programs).

· Support go-live and early ramp by providing on-the-floor coaching, feedback, and remediation for staff.

· Plan ongoing in-service education and annual competencies to maintain regulatory and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

  • RN (BSN preferred) with 3–5+ years in cath lab, vascular, IR, or ASC perioperative environment.
  • Prior experience as clinical educator, preceptor, or super-user in procedural settings.
