Job Description
At Sandridge Crafted Foods, we’re looking for reliable, team-oriented individuals to join our Receiving team. As a Receiving Material Handler, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring all incoming materials are accurately received, stored, and prepared to support production.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position working 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, offering a consistent schedule and strong team environment.
Pay: $20/hour
Overtime: Available based on business needs
You’ll work closely with warehouse leadership, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Compensation:$20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Unload, inspect, and receive all inbound deliveries
- Put away materials using proper storage and rotation procedures
- Work alongside Quality Assurance to verify incoming product and address any concerns
- Pull materials to support upcoming production needs
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving documentation (P.O. receipts, dock moves, etc.)
- Follow proper labeling, storage, and handling procedures in accordance with food safety standards (SQF, GMP)
- Ensure proper product rotation using FEFO (First Expired, First Out)
- Support operations at off-site storage facilities as needed
- Handle returns and ensure accurate inventory adjustments
- Provide timely support to production teams in a service-focused manner
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (as trained)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Follow all safety, food safety, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic communication and computer skills
Preferred (not required):
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience
- Experience working in food manufacturing or regulated environments (GMP/SQF)
