Familiar Roads Home Healthcare is hiring Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide in-home support and care to clients in Honesdale and across Wayne County. If you are dependable, compassionate, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we welcome you to join our growing team.
Qualifications (Required)Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:
Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standards
Current CPR Certification
Recent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent accepted
Proof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) years
Two (2) Valid Professional References
Clear Criminal Background Check
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
Neat appearance and practices good personal hygiene
Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
Meal prep and feeding support
Perform light housekeeping duties
Assist with mobility and ensure safety at home
Medication reminders (non-clinical)
Monitor and report any health or behavior changes in clients
Flexible scheduling: full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts
Bi-Weekly pay
Paid orientation and continuing education
