Job Summary:
The Hearing Test Technician will be responsible for conducting hearing tests, assisting with patient assessments, and supporting the audiology team. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Medical Assistant (MA).
The Hearing Test Technician will be responsible for conducting hearing tests, assisting with patient assessments, and supporting the audiology team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing tests using audiometric equipment
- Prepare and maintain test equipment
- Record and document patient information accurately
- Assist audiologists with patient assessments and evaluations
- Educate patients on test procedures and hearing health
- Maintain a clean and organized testing environment
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service
Qualifications:
- Current and valid CNA, LVN, or MA license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
