Job Details Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Type: Full Time Location: Hammond, LA 70403 Position Overview The Automotive Service Greeter and Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in the service area. You will greet customers, assist with parking and vehicular movement, and maintain a clean and safe service drive to enhance customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Welcome customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude. Confirm appointments and record customer information including name, vehicle identification number (VIN), license plate, mileage, and any existing vehicle damage through a walk-around inspection. Manage service traffic flow, park vehicles after service orders are written up, and assist with loaner vehicles as needed. Drive vehicles safely within the facility and report any lot damage immediately; maintain zero lot damage. Retrieve customer vehicles promptly for pick-up, assist customers, and thank them for their business. Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and identification tags on vehicles brought in for service. Deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor following vehicle parking. Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt. Produce key tags for vehicles as necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned to support service department operations.

Job Requirement:Qualifications Ability to perform all essential duties of the position satisfactorily. Authorization to work in the United States. Commitment to performing duties safely and following company safety procedures. Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background checks, motor vehicle report, drug test, credit report, and possession of a valid driver’s license. Available for full-time work hours.
