Job Title: Hospital Laboratory Director
Location: Nashville, TN

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and strategic Hospital Laboratory Director to lead and oversee all laboratory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery while driving operational excellence, staff development, and financial performance.

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with clinical, organizational, and regulatory standards
• Lead staffing initiatives including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Develop and execute departmental strategies to meet goals related to quality, service, compliance, and financial performance
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, resource utilization, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, FDA, and CMS
• Establish, implement, and review laboratory policies and procedures annually
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate supply chain operations
• Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and performance evaluation
• Promote clear communication and strong team engagement across the department

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry (required)
• Master’s Degree (preferred)

Certifications & Licensure:

• National Certification as a Medical Technologist (required)
• State licensure as applicable

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive laboratory management experience
• Strong leadership experience in complex laboratory environments
• Hospital-based clinical laboratory experience preferred

• COVID-19 vaccination required (subject to applicable laws and exemptions)
