Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician – Nights (Full-Time)
Location: Englewood, Florida
Schedule: Night Shift | Full-Time | Rotating Weekends

Overview:
Join a dynamic clinical laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Technician, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results. This position requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, STAT, and proficiency testing within defined turnaround times
• Analyze and validate patient results, including performing delta checks
• Maintain precise documentation and ensure prompt reporting of findings
• Review pending logs and ensure smooth communication during shift handoffs
• Execute quality control procedures in line with lab standards
• Recognize and respond to critical values, abnormal results, and specimen discrepancies
• Provide support in daily lab operations, including covering in the absence of leadership
• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred)
• Active Florida State Technologist License (required)
• Specialty certification in areas such as Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology preferred (Generalist strongly preferred)
