1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift openings:

  • 1st Shift: 7am-3pm
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm
  • 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am

Pay very much depends on experience & skills: $25/hr. - $37/hr.

Position Summary

The Electrical Technician will support configuration, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and control systems, focusing on tube production, coil winding, and press operations. The role is part electrical troubleshooting and part controls maintenance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Tune, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels linked to tube forming, coilers & winders, pressing machinery, melting, and casting equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain instrumentation: pressure, temperature, flow, safety shutdowns, and sensor network reliability.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control logic specifications.
  • Assist with installations, modifications, and upgrades of control systems and electrical hardware.
  • Support predictive/performance testing of machines, collect control data, participate in root cause analysis of control/electrical issues.
  • Maintain compliance with all electrical safety standards and control system documentation.
  • Provide support for operators and maintenance teams to diagnose intermittent or recurring issues in electrical/control domain.


Qualifications / Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certificate or diploma in electrical technology or controls preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in electrical/control systems in manufacturing or tubular/metal production environment.
  • Experience with PLC programming / troubleshooting, HMI, instrumentation, sensors.
  • Comfortable reading electrical schematics, control wiring, and basic networked systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills: ability to isolate electrical or control issues quickly.
  • Good communication, working in collaboration with production & maintenance teams.
