Senior Claims Advocate – Workers’ Compensation

Location - Syracuse, NY

Salary - $75,000 - 95,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims professional who is ready to step into a more strategic, client-facing role.


As a Senior Claims Advocate, you will take ownership of a portfolio of complex claims, influence claim direction, and partner directly with commercial clients to improve outcomes, reduce exposure, and drive timely

resolution.


This is an ideal opportunity for an adjuster or examiner looking to leverage strong technical expertise in a more consultative and relationship-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive strategy on a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims

• Identify barriers to resolution and influence action with carriers and TPAs

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding claim status, risk factors, and next steps

• Lead claim review meetings and present trends, action plans, and recommendations

• Prepare clear, impactful claim summaries and escalation documentation

• Collaborate closely with Risk Consultants and Claims leadership

• Apply strong working knowledge of New York workers’ compensation and multi-state considerations


What You Bring

• 3+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience (senior examiner background preferred)

• Active Claims Adjuster license

• Strong technical claim knowledge with the ability to influence outcomes

• Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders

• Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication skills
