Job Description:

Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone office; answering or referring inquiries.
The medical assistant prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room;
Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; medications; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
taking electrocardiograms. EHR experience.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential
Preparing Charts for upcoming appts making sure all revelent documents are readily available to the providers
Must be a team player
Communicates effectively with providers and staff
Travel between St. Augustine Once a Month to Start and East Palatka location every Thursday
Referrals and scheduling patients
Authorizations
Able to handle heavy patient load
