Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedic Location
West Salem, OR
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule8-hour day shifts, with a guaranteed 36 hours and the expectation to work up to 40 hours.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient orthopedic setting. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to quality patient care and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. This position is open to new graduates as well as first-time travelers.
Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Conduct evaluations for patient progress and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Support patient education regarding care and rehabilitation protocols.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Current PTA license in the state of Oregon.
- Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
