\nMinimum Qualifications
\n• Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate in radiation therapy from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program required.
\n• Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT. Must obtain ARRT registration within one year from graduation of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program if not currently registered.
\n• Valid Massachusetts state Radiation Therapy license required.
\n• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
\n• Two years of experience as a Radiation Therapist required.
\n• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills required.
\nPreferred Qualifications
\n• Previous experience in a hospital or oncology setting preferred.
\n• Experience operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment preferred.

\n- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Shift Days: Days.

\nImpacting Patient Care
\nAs a Radiation Therapist Level I, you will administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist in accordance with accepted radiation therapy practice. You will operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Duties include operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment, accurately positioning patients and ensuring proper immobilization, verifying treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and documenting treatments to maintain accurate patient records.
