Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.

Location: Detroit, MI
Shift Timing : 8:00 PM to 4:30 PM and one Saturday every Month
Note: Candidates will be responsible for covering all relocation expenses independently, including travel (airfare), accommodation costs and any other costs.
Required Skills:
• Current MI RN licensure, BLS certification through AHA.
• Candidates will be supporting the Home Health department with the patient load in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
• They should anticipate a case load of approximately 6 patient visits per day with an average of 40-60 miles driven per day. (Reimbursement for Travelling will be provided)
• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience, current valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Summary:
• Under general supervision of the nursing supervisor, utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to provide direct patient care in the home.
• Assesses need for other allied health care services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, speech pathology and social work, to ensure an integrated home health care delivery system.
• Performs other related duties as required.
Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of nine months of clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and hospital personnel. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required in order to interact effectively with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Must be able to lift, carry, transport and move clients, if needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Acute care experience, preferred.
Education:
Required Education:
• Successful completion of a registered nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing.
Required Certification & Licensure:
• Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse.
• BLS
• Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
