System Engineer, Sr IV

VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a System Engineer, Sr IV to support the client. The candidate would be responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the realities of commercially available IT products, creating requirements that will allow implementation by the development team. They would also Provide identification and fixing of problems within existing systems, designs, and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Additional responsibilities would include Participating in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems as well as Creating quality detailed design documents, test plans, implementation plans and standard operating procedures.

Duties

• Knowledge of identity management tools
• GPO/Admin Design
• Cloud Computing (AZURE)
• Intermediate or advanced PowerShell scripting

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Doctorate’s degree in a relevant curriculum and 2 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in a relevant curriculum and 4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant curriculum and 6 years of relevant experience
• Associates degree in a relevant curriculum and 10 years of relevant experience
• H.S./GED and 12 years of relevant experience
• Must meet 8570 IAT II requirements to include one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, GIC SP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CSA+.

Required Clearance

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
