Accounts Payable Specialist – Healthcare (On-Site to Hybrid)
Location: Del Mar (Relocating to La Jolla in 2025)
Target Salary: $60k to $65k

A growing, multi-location healthcare organization is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support its central finance team as it brings AP operations in-house. The company’s hospice division has expanded to seven locations (with more on the way), and this role will play a key part in supporting that growth by managing high-volume, multi-entity payables.
This is a full-time, direct-hire role based in Del Mar, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) available after the initial onboarding period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and on time
• Match purchase orders, verify approvals, and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and vendor communications
• Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate GL coding
• Support the month-end close process through AP reporting and reconciliations
• Collaborate with local business managers across all locations
• Bank Reconciliations is a plus

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience; multi-entity or healthcare background a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite or Bill.com experience is a plus)
