Lead Veterinarian - Small Animal Practice
Location: Spencer, MA ;Gurnee, IL; Palm Beach Gardens, FL ; Charlton, MA ; Munster, IL
Full-Time | No Non-Compete | Future Path to Partnership
Key Responsibilities
Lead clinical operations and help foster a positive, collaborative team culture
Mentor and support associate veterinarians and veterinary staff
Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, and routine small-animal surgeries
Manage a variety of medical and surgical cases
Help develop and maintain hospital medical protocols and standards
Build strong relationships with clients and the local community
Partner with leadership to support hospital growth and team success
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD)
Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts
3+ years of clinical experience preferred (strong candidates with less experience may be considered)
Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred for the Lead role
Comfortable performing routine surgeries
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for mentorship, leadership, and high-quality patient care
Compensation
Competitive base pay
Production Bonus: 22% production
No negative accrual
Schedule
Full-time position
Minimum 4 days per week (weekend availability may be considered)
