Position: CT / X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
Location: Sitka, Alaska
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time


Compensation & Perks

  • Salary Range: $104,000 – $145,000/year (based on experience & certifications)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (qualified candidates)
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
  • Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week, rotating shifts)
  • On-Call: Required (must report within 20 minutes if called)


Job Summary

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities. This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to work with patients across all age groups while ensuring safety and quality imaging standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and general radiographic imaging procedures
  • Ensure radiation safety and quality assurance standards
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Assist with interventional and invasive procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment
  • Administer contrast and operate injectors
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support tele-radiology transmission
  • Participate in on-call rotation and shift coverage
  • Assist with inventory, QC checks, and department upkeep


Patient Population

You will provide care across all age groups:

  • Neonates to geriatrics (newborn to 70+ years)


✅ Requirements

  • ARRT Certification (Radiography) – Required
  • Multi-modality experience (CT preferred)
  • Ability to gain clinical competency within 3 months of hire
  • Willingness to work across multiple imaging modalities (CT, X-Ray, etc.)
  • Ability to take call and arrive within 20 minutes
  • Strong knowledge of radiology procedures, safety, and patient care


Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in multiple modalities (CT, MR, Mammography, etc.)
  • Experience with contrast studies and interventional imaging
  • Strong adaptability and ability to work in a rural healthcare setting
