General Laborer

Mount Vernon Company is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring machines are consistently supplied with the necessary materials. Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Responsible for efficiently feeding machines with required materials to ensure continuous operation.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and twisting.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow and contribute to overall production goals.
Quality Control: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the quality of materials fed into machines.
Equipment Maintenance: Report any issues with machinery or equipment to supervisors for prompt resolution.
Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed in a dynamic work setting.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:

This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and performing repetitive tasks.

Shift Information:

M-F 7-3:30 pm
