American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas.

Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Mid shift, 14:30-23:00, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts. Call required (1-2 shifts every 6 weeks). Two weekend shifts per contract period.

- Work with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, and urology
- Exposure to advanced surgical technologies including DaVinci robotic systems and endovascular procedures
- Minimal call requirements with rotating days off for work-life balance
- Epic charting system with comprehensive 36-hour orientation
- Opportunity to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Active Texas or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Minimum 1.5 years of Operating Room nursing experience; 2 years preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification current and valid
- Required surgical experience: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and Urology procedures
- Preferred experience with DaVinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases
- Epic charting system experience required
- 1:1 patient ratio experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
