In this role, you'll assemble and test magnet system controllers, DC rectifiers, battery back-ups, and other critical electrical accessories, working from detailed schematics and blueprints. What You'll Do
- Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to perform complex wiring and assembly.
- Assemble controller and rectifier panels using hand tools, electric, and pneumatic tools.
- Test completed units using appropriate test equipment and compare performance against design specifications.
- Identify, communicate, and troubleshoot issues as they arise-keeping projects on schedule in a time-sensitive, ever-changing product mix.
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, hydraulic presses, air wrenches, and parts washers.
- Use basic computer tools (Excel, Word, email) for documentation and communication.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven electrical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
- Comfortable using meters, scales, and electrical measuring equipment.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of hand tools and industrial equipment.
- Willingness and ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a changing production environment.
