An established, growth-oriented engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of cutting-edge CNC machine systems. What Youll Do

• Design and develop electrical control systems and circuitry for advanced CNC machinery and automated equipment
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineering, production, and controls teams to bring designs from concept through build and commissioning
• Support machine builds, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring systems meet performance and safety standards
• Assist in the integration and optimization of PLC-based control systems and CNC interfaces
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance machine reliability, efficiency, and functionality

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including AC/DC circuits and low/high voltage systems
• Ability to read, interpret, and generate detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with AutoCAD (or similar CAD platforms) for electrical design documentation
• Exposure to or working knowledge of PLC systems and CNC machine controls (programming a plus)
• Familiarity with industrial equipment, automation, or machine tool environments is highly desirable
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
