Position Overview

As a licensed Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma MedBox, you will play an important role in helping our pharmacy operate smoothly and efficiently while supporting patient care.

Our technicians work across several areas of the pharmacy including:

• Prescription processing and fulfillment
• Customer support and patient communication
• Billing and insurance coordination
• Pharmacy operations and workflow support

Schedule Details

This is an in-person position located in Laguna Hills, CA.

Shifts are scheduled within the following hours:

• Monday Friday: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
  Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Full-time | 40 hours per week

What You Will Do

• Prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner
• Verify prescription information and dosage
• Complete orders and refills under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 
  Prepare and process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Verify prescription information and dosage instructions
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and order completion
• Support pharmacy workflow to ensure timely patient service
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
• Follow all pharmacy regulations including HIPAA and safety standards
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient and positive work environment
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support pharmacy operations

What We're Looking For

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License
  
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

• Schedule flexibility to support growing operations, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience working in a Pharmacy (retail or long-term care)
• Entry level candidates with strong motivation to learn are encouraged to apply
