Responsibilities
The KeHE Cares Engagement Coordinator is responsible for enabling serving experiences and making sure they are accessible by every KeHE employee. This position will also oversee programs, events, systems, and processes that drive greater employee involvement with serving and giving – specifically through KeHE Cares. This role serves as a critical connector between KeHE’s focus on operational excellence and its purpose-driven mission by fostering meaningful employee involvement in service and impact-focused initiatives. As with all positions at KeHE, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in nonprofit, foundation, or employee engagement roles preferred.
- Commitment to service, collaboration, and KeHE’s mission-driven culture.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years administrative or program coordination experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Must be able to lift or move items up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required by Foundation activities.
