Bonner General Orthopedics built a reputation for excellence in the areas of sports medicine & rehabilitation, minimally invasive surgery, total & partial joint replacement, and arthroscopic surgery for knee or shoulder. We provide leading-edge, results-based care and lasting solutions from state-of-the-art techniques and the latest technology. Our three surgeons and PA and have a solid reputation for providing excellent orthopedic care and treatment in northern Idaho.
Bonner General Health is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital including a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department staffed with board-certified ED physicians. Bonner General Health has multiple in-patient departments, specialties and clinics with over 60 physicians on active medical staff. We are located in the heart of downtown Sandpoint an area known for Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort offering a multitude of outdoor recreation year round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide surgical and non surgical general orthopedics and sports medicine
  • Perform high-volume arthroscopic and open interventions with focus on knee/shoulder/hip procedures
  • Participate in a shared call schedule covering emergency orthopedic trauma at a level III trauma center

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Fellowship: Completion of an ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowship; preferred but not required
  • Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in advanced minimally invasive surgery and electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
