American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment \n
- Schedule is 3x12-hour evening/night shifts with variable hours \n
- 36 hours per week \n
- 7 weekend shifts required per 8-week period \n
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need \n
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required \n
- Epic EMR used for charting \n
- \n
- Active CO state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted \n
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required \n
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date \n
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred \n
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration \n

- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, including health teaching, counseling, and treatment support \n
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed \n
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic \n
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment \n
- BSN is preferred but not required \n
