Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a mid-to-large hospital in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active IL RN license.

Details\n

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit at a mid-to-large hospital setting
\n
• Unit includes 14 labor rooms, 3 triage/overnight observation rooms, 2 ORs, 3 PACUs, and a 4-bed OBED off the unit
\n
• Unit averages approximately 230 deliveries per month
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• Schedule is 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week
\n
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
\n
• Experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients across a comprehensive unit that includes triage, observation, OR, and PACU components
