About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Construct and install marine structures including docks, decks, boathouses, seawalls and boat lifts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize various carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing marine installations.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Stay updated on the latest marine carpentry techniques and materials.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with marine construction.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification in marine construction or relevant trade is a plus.
- Competent swimmer is a must.
