Title: Emergency Room Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO

Schedule: Full-Time, Days

Compensation: $110,500 – $128,500/year (based on experience)

Position Overview

A large, full-service acute care hospital in Kansas City is seeking an Emergency Room Manager to provide frontline leadership in its high-acuity Emergency Department. Reporting to the interim ED Director, this role ensures safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a busy trauma environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage staff resources, fiscal operations, and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Acute Care ED management experience.
• Current RN license in Missouri or active compact license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• ENPC or PALS upon hire; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.

• Department Oversight: Emergency Department only (no additional departments)
• Reason for opening: Prior Manager promoted to Director role at another facility.
