• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift available

• $25 - $45 /hour

• Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours

We are working with an established food processing company based inHarrisonburg, VA.They are recruiting for multiple**Maintenance Technicians *to join their team during their 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of*$25 - $45 /hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• PLC troubleshooting
• Stripping down mechanical parts and replacing belts, motors, gearboxes, bearings
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshoot and replace AC/DC motors 24v - 480v
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment and machinery including,Reiser equipment, Day Pack Machines, Cone Lines, Meyan, Whole Bird Bagging machines, VSP Machines, OSSID, Spiral Freezer, Cryovac.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
• Maintenance expertise in mechanical functions of the equipment
• Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
• Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
