Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR RN)
Location: New York
Type: Contract (Travel)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts | 06:30 AM – 04:30 PM / 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
The CVOR RN provides specialized nursing care in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a 1:1 ratio setting.

Responsibilities:
• Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgeries
• Monitor and manage patient status during procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Float as needed based on census

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ year CVOR experience – Required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree)
• Active New York RN License – Required
• BLS & ACLS Certifications – Required

Additional Details:
• On-call required (minimum 7 days per 4-week schedule, including weekdays and weekends)
• Travel candidates must reside outside 75-mile radius (locals accepted at adjusted rate)
• Patient Population: Adult | Ratios: 1:1
• Experience with EPIC & Omnicell – Preferred
