Position: Banking Associate (2–6 years)

Salary Range: $225,000 – $420,000 (scale-based, depending on class year)

Role Overview

A prestigious international law firm seeks a mid-level Banking Associate to join its New York office. The team represents major financial institutions, private credit funds, alternative lenders, and corporate borrowers on a wide range of sophisticated financing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise lenders and borrowers on domestic and cross-border financing transactions
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and ancillary financing instruments
• Support asset-based lending, cash-flow lending, and sponsor-backed leveraged finance deals
• Manage deal workflow and supervise juniors
• Conduct due diligence and support closings

Ideal Background

• 2–6 years of Big Law banking/finance experience
• Experience representing agent banks, direct lenders, or sponsors
• Strong drafting/negotiation skills
• NY Bar required
