Home Care Aide

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor clients' health and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervisor.
• Support clients in mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home care or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Home Care Aide or in a similar role is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is beneficial.
