Cashier

Essential Job Duties:
• Extend a friendly greeting to all guests
• Take guest’s order accurately
• Accept payment from guests and make change correctly
• Present order to guest, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensils
• Generate additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items
• Clean all guest areas (sweep and mop as needed)
• Present to management when any front-of- house equipment needs service or inventory is needed
• Explain menu and answer product questions as raised by guests
• Relay the order to kitchen staff
• Thank guests for their business
• Operate the cash register and being responsible for cash receipts
• Count the change back in the register at the beginning and end of shift
• Prep drinks and assist in kitchen prep of items such as sauces, coleslaw, croutons, etc.
• Remove trash from waste receptacles and place at back of restaurant
