Known for our client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results, the firm serves clients locally and around the globe offering tax auditing and assurance business consulting valuation estate planning and international services. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a growing team handling sophisticated audit and advisory engagements. This role is ideal for a seasoned audit professional who values client relationships technical leadership and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform audits reviews and compilations across multiple client engagements ensuring all phases from planning through financial statement issuance are completed in accordance with firm quality control procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate with partners on engagement progress bringing recommended solutions and taking timely action on client communications staffing requirements job planning and scheduling while maintaining direct client billing responsibility
  • Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the year to understand significant business developments and assess their impact on current audit engagements while staying current on GAAP GAAS and emerging industry trends
  • Delegate work effectively to team members provide ongoing mentorship complete performance reviews and actively participate in networking activities while supporting management on firm policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's Degree in Accounting preferred with active CPA license required
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a minimum of 3 years of team lead or in-charge experience supervising and training staff
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Excellent analytical research and audit project management skills including proficiency in GAAP and GAAS with demonstrated experience conducting financial statement attestation engagements and willingness to travel up to 20%
