Job Description

Job Title: Janitorial / Custodian

Shift: 1st shift

Payrate: $18.00-20.00/hr

Job Summary:
The Janitorial/Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in office spaces and manufacturing areas. This role supports daily operations by ensuring cleanliness standards are met in accordance with company and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (desks, door handles, equipment areas)
Maintain cleanliness in manufacturing areas, including walkways and workstations
Refill restroom and break room supplies
Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors
Adhere to company policies, OSHA, and safety standards

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience required
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in both office and industrial environments
