My preschool daycare is looking for a teacher aide with basic Child Development education

Desired characteristics:

Minimum High School grade point average must be 3.0 or higher (verification will be required)

+ A must - You naturally love kids and would genuinely willing to share your affection with them

+ Ability to learn and follow instruction well

+ Pay attention to details and work quality

+ Willingness to self-assess and correct errors

+ Have a caring personality toward all children coming from different cultures

+ Interpersonal relationship building skill

+ Professional, friendly and reliable

+ Good English speaking and writing skill

Some of the job related minimum requirements (can be acquired when job starts)

- Willing to take Live Scan (background check and fingerprint clearance). Will be reimbursed.

- Medical printout to prove that you are vaccinated against contagious diseases such as pertussis (TDAP) and measles (MMR). Otherwise, you will have to take the vaccines prior to the start of your job.

- Willing to take a Tuberculosis test before employment.

- Willing to get certified in First Aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator). I can show you how to obtain one before starting work.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Willing to speak slowly and write neatly and legibly for children. They will be learning from you one word at a time.

- Punctual and reliable

The following education is desirable . One can pursuit it during the job.

6 units or more in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. You can pursuit this while working.
