Job Description
Do you love working in the food industry but don't like the typical restaurant hours? Our 39-year old bakery is just the place for you! We offer PTO and paid sick days. Our latest shift finishes at 5:30pm and we are always closed on Sundays, so you can maintain a work/life balance. We close for 10 days from December 24th-January 2nd so you get a long stretch off every year to re-charge. We are also closed for all major public holidays.
We are looking for an experienced and driven assistant manager who wants to work their way to the top. You must love customer service, a fast-paced environment and being constantly busy. JD's Chippery is a family bakery where our cookies and muffins are made from scratch daily.
As assistant manager, you will learn every position in our bakery - from making cookie dough, to making muffins, running front of house, and you will be managing your colleagues. You do not need to have previous baking experience to apply to this role - we can train you to bake.
