Cashier Foodservice

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is looking to hire a Full Time Experienced Cashier for counter service. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain food orders, build orders and collect payment  
• Accurately and efficiently handle cash and credit cards transactions 
• Provide exceptional customer service, including taking and delivering orders on time 
• Remain professional and courteous when dealing with customers 
• Responsible for keeping cash clean and organized 
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a cashier in a high-volume setting 
• Proficient in using a cash register and other necessary tools 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy  
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills 
• Ability to multitask and remain organized 
• Must possess a positive attitude and friendly demeanor 

Preferences: 

• Previous experience in fast casual restaurant 
• Previous Shift Leadership experience
• Bilingual a plus 

Benefits: 

• $21 + per hour. Base pay of $16 with pooled tips averaging $5 per hour
