Banquet Server responsibilities are setting up, serving, and cleaning up food and beverages at events, ensuring high-quality guest service, and managing room, table, or buffet preparations.


  • Event Setup & Teardown: Preparing banquet rooms by setting tables with linens, cutlery, glassware, and decorations, and performing post-event cleaning.
  • Service Delivery: Serving plated meals or managing buffets, refilling drinks, and taking guest orders in a polite, professional manner.
  • Guest Interaction: Greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and addressing dietary needs or special requests.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to sanitation, food safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth event execution.


Pantry responsibilities include preparing salads/appetizers, organizing inventory, maintaining sanitary conditions, lifting heavy boxes, and assisting with service.


  • Cold Food Prep: Prepare salads, cold appetizers, dressings, vinaigrettes, and cold soups.
  • Garnishing & Plating: Assemble and garnish dishes to meet restaurant quality and presentation standards.
  • Inventory & Stock: Monitor food stock, ensure fresh ingredients, and properly store items to prevent spoilage.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and disinfected work station in accordance with health safety guidelines.


Busser supports front-of-house operations by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, enabling fast turnover and a clean environment. They assist servers by refilling water, delivering food, and restocking service stations, often acting as a vital link between the kitchen and dining room.


  • Table Turnover: Promptly clearing dirty dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting tables with clean linens and silverware.
  • Guest Service Support: Refilling water glasses, serving bread/water upon seating, and assisting servers during busy periods.
  • Cleanliness Maintenance: Sweeping/mopping floors, wiping chairs, and removing trash from the dining area.
  • Station Stocking: Maintaining service stations with clean napkins, cutlery, and condiments.
  • Dishwashing Assistance: Transporting dirty dishes to the kitchen and assisting with washing when needed.
