Job Description

Direct Care Professional (Caregiver) – Group Home & Adult Day Training

Join a team dedicated to making a difference! We are an APD-regulated agency seeking compassionate, reliable, and energetic Caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Seminole Group Homes and Adult Day Training (ADT) center.

What You’ll Do

Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks in a group home setting.
Empower Growth: Facilitate engaging activities and vocational skills training at our Adult Day Training center.
Community Integration: Accompany individuals on community outings and social events.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and progress notes in compliance with APD standards.

Requirements (APD Compliance)

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 1+ year of experience in the medical, psychiatric, or childcare field (preferred), or a complex personal care background.
Background: Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
Training: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Reliability: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
