Direct Support Professional Caregiver

We are seeking Weekend Direct Support Professional Caregivers to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of developmentally disabled individuals in a group home setting. These are adult males living in our group homes. Their level of independence largely depends on your level of support. We need Weekend Warriors specifically! I do pay $2 more to people who can work both Saturday and Sunday DAY shifts for 12 hours. We have the need at our Mesa and Gilbert homes. 

The hourly wage is determined by the location, level of care and ability to work weekend days.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care or other related fields
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to comprehend English language.
• It is necessary to have a Driver License and be comfortable driving a SUV.
• Must be comfortable assisting with all hygiene needs. The ability to lift and transfer is non-negotiable.
• Willing to learn to prepare meals of client's choice. Google strongly encouraged.
