We are seeking a Direct Care Professional to join our team! In this role, you will provide support and direct care in a supervised group home setting for individuals enduring severe and persistent mental illness.

We do not require any previous caregiver or medical experience - we'll provide you with all the training and tools required to excel in this role!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure residents are safe and not in the way of danger
• De-escalate & help residents regain self-control to maintain group safety
• Maintain current knowledge on psychiatric disorders and mental health disorders (training provided!)
• Ensure residents receive their medication on schedule
• Conduct Psycho-Social Rehabilitation discussions and activities (training provided!)
• Provide positive encouragement while educating residents to accomplish necessary skills for independent living
• Help with meal preparation

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Drivers license or state ID
• Background check
• Good communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
