Journeyman HVAC – Facilities Maintenance            Washington DC

Federal O&M Contractor seeking full-time Journeyman HVAC Mechanic with Facilities Maintenance background for long term employment opportunity within the Donald J Trump Institute of Peace Building, Washington DC.

**Must be willing to submit to a Federal Background Check and be able to attain a Secret or possibly Top Secret Clearance.  Details to be discussed at interview stage. 

Candidates are required to possess HVAC Certification for Washington DC and  be able to demonstrate 5 yrs or more recent experience in commercial or      industrial electrical, mechanical, structural & architectural maintenance services in commercial facilities

Incumbent works under the Lead Engineer and/or Project Manager.  Incumbent will be responsible to perform HVAC maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring service and repair to environmental-control systems in office buildings & other commercial establishments, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipe-fitting and structural layout, mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, fabricates, assembles and installs duct work and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment, and installs evaporator unit in chassis or in air-duct system, using hand tools.

Wage Rate: $50.55 with increases per CBA Annually.    Must be willing to work Overtime as Needed.

This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement and would require membership in Local Trades Union; benefits include Pension, Health & Welfare, Paid Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays.
